The
bottom lands of the Great Lake Basin are covered with more
than an estimated 3,000 shipwrecks. Many of these shipwrecks
are still being discovered. The cold fresh waters have helped
to preserve these wrecks, making for excellent scuba diving
exploration.
The Thumb Area Charter Boat Association was established to promote recognition
of the charter industry in the thumb area and to insure the general public
that when chartering with a member captain you can be sure your safety is
our first priority.
